It is a great feeling to be recognized by the Industry for our work. Yesterday, we won the award for the Best Social Media App (Corporate) at The Indian Digital Media Awards 2013 (IDMA) for our work on Mother Dairy.
Mother Dairy is a great brand which cares about its audience as a real mother would care for her children. We used this connect to create an enriching and emotional connection with Mother Dairy’s existing audience as well as potential ones on Facebook. We made an app which let fans send a heartfelt letter to them moms via Social media, email or courier.
Since the connect was so strong, existing fans and new users started to participate meaningfully. While we read the entries (which were a joy to read BTW), we realized that our app had facilitated such good re-connection between users and their mothers and we let the app stay live for a couple days more. The response was overwhelming.
